  • Earthquake Survival Kits

Southern California is an area in which earthquakes are a fact of life.  In order to prepare for and to better cope with the possibility of an earthquake, we practice safety drills in the classroom.

Each student is required to provide a personal earthquake survival kit, which must be received on or before the first day of school.  The kits should be labeled with the student’s name and the date made.  We will store them in an area which will be easily accessible in the event of an emergency.  At the end of the school year, unused kits will be returned upon request.
